Description
– This listing is for a pair (two symmetrical bracers; only right side is shown in pictures above)
– The body of the bracers is made of sturdy 10 oz vegetable-tanned leather (almost 5 mm thick), hand-carved and tooled, then wet-molded and hardened to hold the shape that you see. This is armor-weight leather; properly cared for, it will last a lifetime.
– They are dyed with a waterproof black under-coat, and gilded with a high-quality acrylic that is durable, flexible, and waterproof. There is no need to worry about any color rubbing off on skin or clothing.
– They are 8.5″ long from tip to tip in the front, and 6.5″ in the back.
– The pair comes with black lacing to hold it closed (not pictured)
As these were made to be movie-accurate, and Jason Momoa’s arms are HUGE, the smallest they can fit is a 7″+ wrist and an 11″+ forearm. If you do not have arms like Jason Momoa and would like a pair that is adapted to fit you, please get in contact with me and I’d be happy to discuss your options. (There is no additional charge for resizing.)
