Description
Here at last! For all you DIY costume-makers out there, I am pleased to make available the pattern I used for all my Loki shoulders — the product of many hours spent scrutinizing many, many, MANY screen-grabs, on-set pics, and promotional images to develop the most detailed and movie-accurate replica on the internet.
This is a very versatile pattern that can be used with your media of choice — leather, resin, craft foam, you name it.
This file contains:
1) The pattern pieces for Loki’s shoulder and chest strap, sized for printing on standard 8.5″ x 11″ paper.
2) For people interested in making it with leather, a complete list of all the materials and tools necessary, along with recommendations on where to find them.
3) Comprehensive, step by step instructions on how to make it with leather — accessible even to people with no leatherworking experience. (And feel free to drop me a line if you’ve got any questions!)
4) Reference pictures of the actual costume piece and my finished version, that you can check as you’re going along.
