Description
Here at last! For all you DIY costume-makers out there, I am pleased to make available the pattern I used for all my Thorin bracers — the product of many hours spent scrutinizing many, many, MANY screen-grabs, on-set pics, and promotional images to develop the most detailed and movie-accurate replica on the internet.
This file contains:
1) The patterns for cutting out and tooling all the pieces necessary for Thorin’s bracers.
2) A complete list of all the materials and tools necessary, along with recommendations on where to find them.
3) Comprehensive, step by step instructions on how to make it with leather — presumes zero knowledge of leatherworking, . (And feel free to drop me a line if you’ve got any questions!)
4) Thirty-eight pictures documenting every step of the process.
Happy cosplaying!
