As a self-taught leatherworker, I know the struggle of trying to break into a field with a rather daunting reputation for being both esoteric and expensive — but what I’ve found is that it doesn’t have to be.
I don’t believe in trade secrets. The world is a better place when we’re all helping each other do our best, and so I’m happy to share my hard-won knowledge with anyone who wants to learn — there are no questions off-limits, no special techniques that I plan on taking to the grave with me. This page is where I’ve collected the instructional material I’ve made over the years, both long-form tutorials and short mini-lessons about specific quirks of leatherworking, along with patterns and tutorials for specific projects.
And if you’ve got a question, don’t hesitate to ask!
